About Comprehensive Rehab Consultants
CRC is a leading provider of post-acute care services, specializing in physiatry and psychiatric services within skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). We bridge the gap between hospital discharge and home recovery, ensuring patients receive high-quality, specialized care. As we continue to scale our provider network across the country, we are looking for a People Operations Manager to lead our HR infrastructure from our Oakbrook Terrace headquarters.
The Role
The People Operations Manager will be the backbone of our team member experience. You will oversee the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding our specialized medical providers to managing benefits and fostering a high-performance culture. This is a "builder" role where you will refine our HR processes to support a rapidly growing, remote-heavy clinical workforce while maintaining a strong local culture in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Integration & Onboarding
- Lead the transition from "Candidate" to "Provider," ensuring all clinicians (Physiatrists, NPs, PAs) have a seamless entry into the CRC ecosystem.
- Partner with the credentialing team to ensure all HR requirements are met alongside clinical compliance.
2. Performance & Engagement
- Implement and manage performance review cycles that align with clinical quality metrics and company KPIs.
- Develop engagement initiatives that connect our field-based providers with the Oakbrook Terrace corporate mission.
3. Benefits & Compensation
- Administer comprehensive benefits programs (Health, 401k, CME allowances).
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure CRC remains competitive in national healthcare markets.
4. Compliance & Policy
- Maintain and update the Employee Handbook to ensure compliance with labor laws and federal regulations (EEOC, FMLA, ADA).
- Handle employee relations matters with empathy, discretion, and a focus on conflict resolution.
5. HR Tech & Analytics
- Manage and optimize our HRIS platforms to provide data-driven insights on turnover and team satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years in HR/People Ops, preferably within the healthcare, medical group, or staffing industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with the nuances of clinical staffing (credentialing, malpractice insurance basics, or provider relations) is highly preferred.
- Software Savvy: High proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Gusto, Guideline, AirTable, etc.) and GSuite.
- Location: Ability to work from the Oakbrook Terrace office twice a week and as needed to support local staff.
Why Join CRC?
- Impact: You aren't just filing paperwork; you are building the team that helps patients regain their independence.
