New Patient Intake Specialist
Comprehensive Pain & Neurology Center, an established and growing multi-specialty neurology practice staffed by board certified and fellowship trained physicians, behavioral health professionals, and advanced practitioners is seeking an experienced New Patient Intake Specialist .
The New Patient Intake Specialist is a key player on our medical team. He/she is the sole person responsible for same-day scheduling of all new patient referrals.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains new patient information and accurately enters patient demographic and insurance information in system
- Scheduling of all New Patients, including addressing cancellation/call-back's and referrals
- Assist with insurance verification and pre-certification
- Accurately track the source of in-coming referrals and prepare monthly reports for management
- Establish a good relationship with other referring offices to reach out and provide notification of availability in schedule
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Strong organization, multi-tasking, and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate verbally
- Professional demeanor and pleasant telephone voice
- Shows initiative and enjoys working as a team in a fast paced environment
- HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Experienced with MS Word and Excel
- Positive Attitude, Strong Work Ethic and Team Mentality Required.
Preference will be given to candidates with eClinicalWorks experience.
This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday thru Thursday, 7 am-5:00 pm.
Competitive salary based on experience. 401k, and profit sharing along with paid holidays and PTO.
