We are looking for a self motivated, energetic, QUALITY TECHNICIAN - 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) with a track record of unparalleled professionalism, integrity, and loyalty to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and monitors the contents of shipments that leave Comprehensive
- Assists with training Material Movement Team
- Train, coach receiving personnel company policies and procedures
- Ability to make timely decisions that may affect the service and productivity of our customer
- Communicate with the supervisor, quality, materials and customers to ensure processes are being followed to meet customer requirements
- Plan, organize and help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect service and productivity with regards to our customer.
- Be knowledgeable and understand how our function affects our customer
- Ensures compliance to Dock Safety
- Keep proper documentation and records
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Enforce company policies/ procedures and corresponding work instructions
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Research part status even when on a trailer
- Break down build papers from customer for each cell – verify all received and if not notify customer with what is needed
- Work with 1st shift planner (customer) with any inventory issues
- Gather parts requested throughout the night and schedule delivery to customer keeping within their 30-minute time frame
- Support Quality Liaison with inventory/quality issues throughout the shift
- Support receiving with deliveries by entering in the system
- Send nightly report to planners which updates them on parts needing to be reordered
- The ability to work 6am-2:30pm(Mon-Fri)
- Strong organizational skills, self-starter with follow through.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Reach truck license/certification is required
