Child, Youth and Family Outpatient Team
Program Overview:
The Child, Youth, and Family Outpatient Team provides therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and co-occurring substance use. This internship offers hands-on experience in community-based behavioral health, with weekly clinical supervision provided by a licensed clinician.
Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:
- Conduct intake assessments and assist in developing developmentally appropriate treatment plans.
- Co-facilitate individual and group therapy sessions under supervision.
- Document clinical services and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR).
