What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant- Front desk AND back office work position at Comprehensive Cardiac Care?
Requirements-
1) Medical Assistant Degree or Experience with Medical Assistant duties
2) Ideally-- Experience with using Athena EMR
3) Must have -- Experience with insurance authorizations
DUTIES:
Includes both front desk and back office work. Do not apply if you can't do back office work.
Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering questions or referring inquiries. Scheduling appointments and verifying insurances and other typical front desk duties.
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Ability to check in patients, take vital signs and perform ECGs.
Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to communicate with compassion.
This is a growth position. We are looking for someone who can move into an office manager position over time.
Pay range depends on experience and skill set.
Hours are Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur 8-4 pm. These are NOT flexible. Must be able to work all these hours.
