The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, ensuring that the organization’s HR strategies support its overall goals. The HRBP will drive initiatives related to talent acquisition and total rewards, fostering a culture of engagement and performance. By leveraging HRIS systems and data analytics, the HRBP will develop strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Ultimately, the HRBP will contribute to the organization's success by ensuring that human capital is effectively managed and aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with leaders to develop effective hiring strategies and ensure a strong candidate pipeline
- Play an active role in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Contribute to an engaging and well-organized onboarding experience that reflects our culture and values
- Track and report on recruiting metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
Employee Relations & HR Operations
- Serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders on HR policies, performance management, and development
- Support engagement and retention efforts by fostering positive employee relations and proactive communication
- Provide day-to-day HR support across benefits, HRIS updates, compliance documentation, and employee data accuracy
- Collaborate with leaders to align HR practices with business goals and ensure consistent employee experience
- Contribute to cross-functional HR processes and systems to support operational continuity and accuracy
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Build and maintain HR dashboards and reports to support data-driven workforce decisions
- Analyze trends in hiring, turnover, and engagement to inform HR strategy and recommendations
- Partner on HR projects aimed at enhancing process efficiency, compliance, and employee experience
- Support development of scalable HR solutions that enable organizational growth and evolving needs
- Stay informed on employment law updates, HR trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive experience in HR, with exposure to recruiting, onboarding, and generalist responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and HR data reporting
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (ADP Workforce Now experience a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a recognized HR body (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Experience in a multi-entity or growth-stage organization
Work Environment:
This position is a remote position within approved Lumelight states. This job operates in a professional office environment, whether in person or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Equipment will be provided to you.
