Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Wound Care
Complete Wound Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our growing wound care practice. The APRN will provide specialized wound care services in our outpatient clinics and, as needed, in patients’ homes and partner facilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute, chronic, and complex wounds.
- Develop individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, dressings, and wound care supplies.
- Identify patients who may benefit from advanced wound care therapies.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound management and prevention.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer, and organizational documentation requirements.
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and other members of the care team.
- Participate in clinical training, quality-improvement activities, and team meetings.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical, privacy, safety, and infection-control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Connecticut APRN license.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in wound care, dermatology, surgery, primary care, vascular care, or a related specialty is preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-education skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally when providing home- or facility-based care.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday.
- No overnight shifts.
- Schedule and clinical locations will be discussed during the interview process.
