Shipping & Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to support daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping a variety of manufacturing materials, parts, and supplies. This role follows established procedures to ensure materials are accurately handled and documented.Shipper / Receiver – 1st ShiftPay: $23.52/hourSchedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming raw, semi-finished, and finished materials from carriers.Inspect shipments for damage and verify items against packing slips and purchase orders, including count, weight, and specifications.Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervision.Locate and accumulate required materials, including wire and cable, to fulfill customer orders or internal requests.Rewind finished cables and wires as needed to meet specified lengths.Wrap, pack, palletize, strap, and otherwise prepare materials for shipment following company procedures and customer instructions.Apply stencils, labels, tags, and other identification markings to materials and packaging.Pre-pack standard wires and cables and store inventory in designated locations.Move materials to inspection areas, departments, or storage locations using forklifts or other material handling equipment.Issue materials from storage based on approved requisitions and transport them to the appropriate departments.Maintain shipping and receiving documentation, records, and routine reports.Prepare paperwork for returned or rejected materials and coordinate carrier pickups.Accumulate returnable reels and other materials for return to vendors.Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or unusual conditions to supervision.Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations.Qualifications / RequirementsMust be 18 years of age or olderAbility to operate a forklift and other material handling equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to lift and move materials in a warehouse environment...Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
