Part-time Practice Assistant Type: temp to hire Schedule: part-time, Mon/Wed/Fri 8:30am-5pmHas the chance to convert to full-time depending on staffing needsRequirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.Prior administrative experience in a health care settingEpic experience preferred Responsibilities: Manages all aspects of patient care including but not limited too; scheduling of clinic appointments, specialized testing, booking surgical cases in the operating room, managing prescription requests, messaging through the patient portal, documenting in the organization’s EPIC electronic medical record.Answers all incoming patient calls, triage the message, and facilitates the need of the patient; directs all medically related questions to the appropriate clinical staff, scheduling appointments, etc.May be responsible for scheduling referrals assigned by the Patient Access Center.May collect, compile and forward co-payment/payment/reimbursement documentation to appropriate internal parties.May serve as point of person for the patients, vendors, insurance companies around any billing concerns....Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
