An Orthopedic Center is looking for a full time Patient Care Coordinator.Temp to PermHours: 40-hours per week, must be flexible to work 8-hour shifts during the hours of operation, must work 1 late shift per weekMonday 7AM-7PMTuesday 7AM-7PMWednesday 7AM-7PMThursday 7AM-5PMFriday 7AM-5PMResponsibilities: *non patient facing role*Triage and manage calls from patients/pharmacies/insurance companies and other facilitiesSchedule patient appointmentsComplete online insurance verificationFollow up with patients regarding missed appointmentsEnsure patients have completed prescribed testing (imaging, labs, etc.) and have follow-up appointments schedule with their physiciansEnsure all documents are properly completed by their physiciansPrepare forms as requested by patients such as disability, MVA, etc.Handle all attorney requests for their legal documentsManage authorizations for motor vehicle and workers comp patientsMonitor webchat via Snap Engage daily and respond to appropriate partiesManage calls from hospitals and physician offices and route calls to appropriate partiesHandle and coordinate the doctors’ daily schedules, including their calendarsCreate electronic medical notes including general notes and telephone encounters as necessaryInform patients about the practice CDC guidelines and requirementsInteract with other departments within the organizationWork as a liaison between patients and providersPerform other duties as requested by managementQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent3 years of Patient Care Coordinator / related experienceEMR experience (practice uses eClinicalWorks, NaviNet, Helio – training provided)Orthopedic/Pain Management experience highly preferred...Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
