Hiring for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Medical Receptionist in Lawrence, MA.
This will be an 8 month leave coverage temporary role!
Pay: $23-25/hr (based on experience
Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm (40 hours/week)
About the practice/role:
- Busy Primary Care and Walk-In Center seeking experienced, mature, and reliable candidate.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work as a team and complete all daily tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Very fast-paced, high-volume office - must be able to work under pressure.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is required
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience as a medical admin/ medical front desk
- Experience with electronic medical records required - strongly prefer ECW (eClinicalWorks)
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
Essential Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients daily, returning calls, etc.
- Supply Inventory
- Phone triage
- Appointment scheduling
- Co-pay/balance collection
- Insurance Eligibility
- Taking phone messages and assigning them to appropriate clinician/staff
- Faxes and attaching documents to patient’s EMR
- Processing referrals
- Additional clerical duties as assigned
