We’ve partnered with a large apartment community in Midtown Manhattan seeking additional support in their Mailroom.The Temporary Mailroom / Package Room Clerk will be responsible for keeping the package room clean, organized, and operating efficiently. This role manages the intake, logging, sorting, and distribution of packages for residents and various departments.Compensation: $20–$21 per hour Schedule: 9am-1pm Mon-Fri & 8am-5pm Saturday Saturday is mandatory.Manager is flexible with the schedule Key Responsibilities:Receive and distribute daily deliveries from UPS and USPS to residents, operations, and managementScan packages into the property management system, sort, and properly shelve itemsMaintain a clean, organized, and orderly package roomProvide the supervisor with a weekly summary of completed daily tasksDeliver exceptional customer service to residents and staffPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:Previous experience in a residential package room preferredSelf-motivated team player able to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong time management skills and dependable work ethicComfortable using computers and property management softwareExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)Must be available for alternating weekend shifts as determined by the supervisor #zip
