Community health center hiring for temp RN. Contract thru 5/1Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Requirements: Licensed as a registered nurse and graduate of an accredited college required.Active DC RN License BLS certification Nursing Responsibilities: Prepares patients for examination and treatment including, but not limited to, taking the patient’s history, obtaining accurate vital signs, and verifying the chief complaint as needed.Instructs patients in basic testing requirements (i.e. Pulmonary Function Tests, clean catch urines, and finger sticks) as needed.Supplies the provider with necessary forms, information, and educational tools to accomplish visit when needed.Prepares exam and treatment room with necessary instruments according to policy and/or procedure manual as instructed.Performs all in-house labs and procedures as indicated by the clinical protocol.Cleans up exam and treatment rooms after patient care.Sets up for sterile procedures when needed.#zip
