Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee compensation strategies, including salary structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA, HIPAA, and workers' compensation regulations across all compensation practices.
- Utilize HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, or UltiPro to maintain accurate employee data related to compensation.
- Conduct regular data collection and analysis to evaluate market competitiveness and internal equity; prepare detailed reports for leadership decision-making.
- Lead negotiations for employment contracts and salary offers; facilitate employee orientation sessions related to compensation policies.
- Oversee payroll processing in collaboration with payroll providers like ADP or Paylocity; ensure accuracy in payments and deductions.
- Maintain regulatory reporting standards for agencies such as Medicare or other relevant authorities.
- Manage employee evaluation processes to ensure performance-based compensation adjustments are fair and transparent.
- Collaborate with Employee Relations teams to address compensation-related concerns; support training & development initiatives related to pay practices.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards such as HIPAA when handling sensitive employee information.
- Support the integration of ERP systems like Lawson or PeopleSoft for streamlined HR operations.
- Prepare reports on compensation trends and recommend improvements based on data analysis skills.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of human resources functions with a focus on compensation management.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems including Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, or similar platforms.
