Gasket Technician in Orange, TX

We are seeking an experience Gasket Technician for programming and operation of waterjet and CNC flash cutter, for our company in Orange, TX.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Gasket Technician to join our team in Orange, TX.

The Gasket Technician will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, and testing gaskets and sealing products used in various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of gasket materials and processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. 

Training provided but previous experience desired. 

- Must have mechanical aptitude. 
- AutoCAD skills a huge plus to assist with both machines. 
- Must be able to read a tape measure 1/8". 1/16", 1/32 increments. 
- Organize and label incoming stock for production. 
- Manufacture gaskets with different mechanical equipment.
- Maintain inventory levels for standard stock items.  Loading and unloading as needed with forklift
  (training provided by employer)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
- Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor locations.

**Work hours are Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m.--4:30 p.m. then rotational seven day shift for on call after training.  30 minute lunch.
 
**Pay $16.00--$22.00 per hour. D.O.E.
