Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high‑quality parts according to specifications. Prepare machines, monitor production, inspect finished components, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and lathes)
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Load raw materials and parts
- Perform test runs and adjust machine settings
- Monitor machine operations for accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect finished components using precision measurement tools
- Perform routine maintenance and daily equipment checks
- Maintain job logs, routers, and documentation
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Support team scheduling, training, and workflow as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Trade school certificate or diploma preferred
- Proven CNC machine operation experience
- Proficiency with calipers and precision measurement tools
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- High attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Work safely in a manufacturing environ
Pay: $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
