We are seeking a dependable and motivatedMaintenance Technician to support our glass manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
Qualifications & Requirements - Maintenance Technician
- Valid U.S. Driver's License.
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
- Basic electrical and mechanical repair skills.
- Knowledge of motors, belts, bearings, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to read basic electrical and mechanical diagrams is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work safely and follow all company safety procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties - Maintenance Technician
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to keep production running efficiently.
- Complete preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and make necessary repairs.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues before they become problems.
- Install, replace, and repair parts as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and support daily operations.
- Complete maintenance records and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery, noise, heat, and glass products.
- Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Starting Pay: $19.00/hour
2nd Shift
- Tuesday-Saturday
- 3:00 PM-12:00 AM
- Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
Starting pay is based on experience and qualifications.
