Mon - Fri 8AM - 5PM
The Clinical Operations Specialist supports the daily operations of primary care clinics by conducting audits, ensuring adherence to established workflows, and promoting consistent implementation of clinical and administrative processes. This role partners with clinic leadership, providers, and staff to identify operational gaps, recommend improvements, and drive performance in quality, compliance, efficiency, and patient experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Audit & Compliance
- Conduct regular audits of clinic operations, documentation, and workflows to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and payer requirements.
- Monitor adherence to clinical and administrative protocols
- Identify deviations or inefficiencies and collaborate with management to develop corrective action plans.
- Operational Support
- Assist with implementation of new policies, workflows, and technologies to enhance operational performance.
- Support onboarding and training of clinical and administrative staff in operational best practices.
- Serve as a resource for clinic teams regarding standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Improvement
- Collect and analyze operational and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Collaborate with Quality and Compliance teams to align operational processes with clinical quality initiatives.
- Participate in process improvement projects to streamline workflows and improve patient care outcomes.
- Reporting & Communication
- Prepare detailed audit reports and summarize findings for leadership review.
- Communicate recommendations effectively and support follow-up to ensure sustained improvement.
- Facilitate feedback loops between clinical teams and leadership to promote continuous process optimization.
