About Complete Children's Health

Complete Children's Health is a flourishing, physician-owned pediatric practice in Lincoln, Nebraska established in 1995. With over 25 medical providers and 6 clinical psychologists, we are one of Lincoln's leading pediatric practices—dedicated to enhancing the growth, development, and well-being of children and adolescents. We are deeply caring, collaborative, and passionate about the work we do. We're growing our behavioral health team and are looking for a motivated Mental Health Therapist to join us.

Position Overview

The Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient therapy to pediatric patients and their families, working in close partnership with our team of psychologists and pediatric medical providers. This is a full-time, weekday outpatient position with no evening or weekend requirements.

Collaborative and Supportive Environment

One of the things that sets Complete Children's Health apart is the robust clinical infrastructure built to support our behavioral health providers. You will have direct access to:

  • Psychology Care Manager (Licensed Mental Health Practitioner): Your dedicated care manager assists with case management, clinical consultation, and coordination across the care team—so complex cases never feel like you're navigating them solo.
  • Psychology Coordinator: Handles scheduling, insurance claims, coordination of meetings, and medical records processing so you can focus entirely on patient care.
  • Collaborative Psychologist Team: Our experienced team of 6 clinical psychologists is readily available for consultation, case discussion, and co-management of complex presentations. Formal and informal consultation opportunities are built into your week.
  • Integrated Medical Team: Direct access to pediatric providers enables true coordinated care—referrals flow naturally, and collaboration is built into how we work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize evidence-based therapy strategies with pediatric patients consistent with your training and scope of licensure
  • Implement treatment recommendations and coordinate care with psychologists and pediatric providers
  • Identify and manage safety concerns including suicidal ideation, self-harm, and trauma

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Contribute to a positive patient and family experience
  • Participate in internal clinical meetings and, as appropriate, community-based initiatives

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Licensed as an LIMHP or LICSW in the State of Nebraska
  • Eligible for credentialing with major insurance providers
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

What We Offer
