We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Provisional or Independent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing mental health team!
Strengthen Mental Health has locations in both Fremont and Columbus; looking to hire immediately for the Columbus location!

*Income range shown is expected hourly rate after percentage is taken out!
**Must be willing to work 1 or 2 after school/evenings a week. Must be licensed In Nebraska, willing to be credentialed with Medicaids!
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Deliver individual and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or suicidal ideation, ensuring safety and appropriate referrals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including case management for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records following HIPAA guidelines.
- Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with advances in mental health counseling, ICD coding updates (ICD-9/ICD-10), and best practices for behavioral health interventions.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW or equivalent) with active state certification.
- NEBRASKA Licensed!
- Provisional or Independently Licensed Encouraged to Apply!
- Proven experience providing psychotherapy across diverse settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or community mental health programs.
- Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms combined with strong communication skills for effective client engagement remotely.
