- Clinical Excellence: Administer medications and perform specialized treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and individualized resident care plans.
- Assessment & Monitoring: Utilize advanced clinical skills to accurately report and record resident conditions. Identify and document subtle changes in physical or mental status that may require intervention.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all nursing activities are performed in full alignment with local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as facility policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to update care plans and ensure holistic resident wellness.
- Leadership: Provide clinical oversight to LPNs and CNAs, fostering a culture of safety and high-quality bedside care.
- Documentation: Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) to ensure seamless communication during shift hand-offs.
- Licensure: Must hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in the state of Wisconsin.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Critical Thinking: The ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and make sound clinical decisions.
- Experience: Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) is preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates.
- Interpersonal Skills: A compassionate bedside manner and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary group.
