Key Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership & Care Excellence

As an RN at Complete Care at Kensington, you are the clinical anchor of your unit. Your responsibilities include:

• Clinical Documentation: Maintaining accurate and thorough Daily Documentation of patient conditions, care provided, and responses to treatments in the resident record.
• Medication & Order Management: Precisely Transcribe physicians’ orders to MAR’s and promptly Notify pharmacy of new orders. You will safely Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
• Patient Monitoring: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, proactively monitoring patient status, identifying subtle changes, and initiating appropriate interventions promptly.
• Team Supervision: Provide clinical direction, supervision, and mentorship to LPNs and CNAs, ensuring the highest standard of patient care is delivered across the shift.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in care planning, effectively communicating patient needs and goals to the entire interdisciplinary team (Therapy, Dietary, Social Services).
• All other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing, ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of the nursing department.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) License in Wisconsin.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions.
