Key Responsibilities
- Clinical & Resident Care Oversight
- Coordinate pharmacy and medication management services in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
- Oversee resident assessments, service plans, and ongoing evaluations to ensure care needs are appropriately identified and met.
- Attend and lead Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings as appropriate.
- Ensure completion of required pre-admission screenings prior to move-in.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure timely communication, documentation, and intervention.
- Ensure services are delivered with respect for residents’ health, safety, welfare, rights, and satisfaction.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Report and investigate allegations of Abuse, Neglect, or Misappropriation of Property in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate nursing and caregiving staff.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance coaching.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and supervision for RCAC and CBRF programs.
- Monitor and adjust staffing patterns to balance labor costs, care quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish departmental priorities and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Provide hands-on support on the floor as needed, including care delivery, audits, training, and quality assurance.
- Participate in shared on-call responsibilities with the Wellness Director and Resident Care Coordinator, including after-hours support.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations governing RCAC and CBRF operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuous survey readiness.
- Participate in facility committees and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with policy development, implementation, and review.
- Conduct routine audits of care documentation, medication administration, and service delivery.
- Manage departmental supplies and monitor budgets related to staffing and care delivery.
- Support and promote the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly, professionally, and compassionately.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of assisted living regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to provide hands-on resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Current CBRF certifications as required by state regulations.
- Active CNA license (preferred or required per facility guidelines).
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or management experience in an Assisted Living, RCAC, or CBRF setting.
- Experience in staff supervision, care planning, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Must meet all state background check and health screening requirements.
