Medical Records/Unit Clerk Schedule & Benefits

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of medical records management and healthcare documentation standards.
- Answer phones as necessary
- Ability to work independently or part of a group
- Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer resident call lights
- Report all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible
- Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manger
- Transfer hospital appointments and schedule doctor appointments
- Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator
