(RN) Cardiac Recovery Nurse Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
- Experience in long-term care setting is preferred
- Cardiac Unit Competency skills include but are not limited to: Cardiac assessment, knowledge of Milrinone pump and medication management, CHF-Congestive Heart Failure, Life Vest, TPN initiation and management.
- This is a non-telemetry monitor cardiac unit
- Manage surgical wounds and perform dressing treatments, as assigned per physician’s orders, in accordance with resident’s care plan and within scope of practice
- Management of Infusion therapy
- Administration of Inotropic Medications and all other medications as assigned per physician’s orders
- Knowledge of the Milrinone Infusion Administration Process
- BLS CPR
- Basic EKG knowledge
- Monitor and assess residents’ health, document changes, and communicate updates to the healthcare team
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care while ensuring residents' physical and emotional well-being
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator
- Schedule – Part-time, 3-11p (4 days a week) including every other weekend
- Work today; Get paid today option available
