(RN) Cardiac Recovery Nurse Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Experience in long-term care setting is preferred
• Cardiac Unit Competency skills include but are not limited to: Cardiac assessment, knowledge of Milrinone pump and medication management, CHF-Congestive Heart Failure, Life Vest, TPN initiation and management.
• This is a non-telemetry monitor cardiac unit
• Manage surgical wounds and perform dressing treatments, as assigned per physician’s orders, in accordance with resident’s care plan and within scope of practice
• Management of Infusion therapy
• Administration of Inotropic Medications and all other medications as assigned per physician’s orders
• Knowledge of the Milrinone Infusion Administration Process
• BLS CPR
• Basic EKG knowledge
• Monitor and assess residents’ health, document changes, and communicate updates to the healthcare team
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care while ensuring residents' physical and emotional well-being
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator
