- Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with acute-care hospitals, health systems, discharge planners, and case managers.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of facilities’ resident treatment programs, philosophies, goals, and objectives.
- Partners with Regional Director of Business Development to develop and execute marketing plans and achieve facility occupancy goals.
- Monitors conversion ratios regarding Business Development. Calls/Visits direct referral sources, directs prospective calls, and analyzes data, to use as part of marketing plan.
- Researches and provides recommendations for content and delivery of brochures, flyers, press releases and other forms of media that promote the facilities services.
- Continually review changes to the market and the activities of the competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.
- Identify/Executing new and creative business opportunities
- Perform on-site assessments as required by facilities, to acquire necessary and appropriate information to facilitate the admission of prospective residents to the facility.
- Completes outside Business Development sales calls : Contact sources may include legal and financial professionals, senior organizations, appropriate special interest groups, hospital discharge planners, retirement communities, clergy, medical insurance providers and other local community contacts.
- Experience in sales/marketing- Preferred in Senior Living/Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Aware of and adheres to Resident’s Rights and Confidentiality of Resident information
- Technically savvy with experience using various EHR software systems
- Strong communication, decision making and creative thinking skills
