Complete Care | Full-Time Hourly Position

Support Multiple Skilled Nursing Centers Across New Jersey

Complete Care is seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Regional Maintenance Assistant to support our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys variety in their workday, takes pride in keeping buildings operating safely and efficiently, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, can multitask between projects and facilities, and is willing to respond to urgent maintenance needs when necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on facility equipment and systems

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building-related issues

  • Complete general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and equipment maintenance

  • Assist with facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations

  • Travel between facilities throughout Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities across various locations

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Work independently while collaborating with facility leadership and team members

  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Administrator

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Maintenance, handyman, facilities, construction, or building operations experience required

  • Long-term care, healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living experience is preferred but not required

  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems

  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or trade certifications preferred

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle

  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned facilities

  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands

  • Computer proficiency preferred

  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Schedule:
  • Full-Time Hourly Position

  • Primarily Day Shift Hours

  • Flexible schedule required to support multiple centers

  • Participation in emergency on-call rotation required

  • Must be available to assist facilities during evenings, weekends, and off-hours emergencies when needed
