Hours: Full-time (1st Shift), Weekend Requirements: On Call (Depends on Nursing Dept needs and DOH requirements)
Salary: $105K-$115K/year (based on licensure and experience)
Interviews: In-Person (30-minute interview) between 2pm- 4pm (M-F)
The Infection Preventionist - LPN is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating infection control and prevention programs in a long-term care setting to ensure the safety and well-being of resident, staff, and visitors.
Infection Preventionist - LPN Key Responsibilities:

Education and Training
Surveillance and Monitoring

Compliance and Auditing
Environmental Safety
Investigation and Reporting
Quality Improvement
Infection Preventionist - LPN Qualifications:
IP Certification a MUST
Excellent Excel Spreadsheet Knowledge and MDROS Experience
active/ valid LPN license in the state of NJ is a MUST
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Prior experience in infection prevention in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Strong knowledge of infectious diseases, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in infection prevention.
