Hiring: Central Supply Unit Clerk

Hours: Full-Time, 1st Shift (8 hours/ day) On Call Weekend (as needed)

Rate: $20-$23/hr. (depending on experience)

Central Supply Unit Clerk Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Previous long-term care experience/ nursing home experience ordering supplies

• Able to move heavy loads in a long-term care experience/ nursing home setting

• Computer knowledge

• Ability to work independently or part of a group

Central Supply Unit Clerk & Responsibilities:

• Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment

• Stock supply rooms and nutrition rooms on each unit with medical supplies

• Ensure inventory is updated as required, when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment

• Organize storage and catalog locations of supplies and equipment for efficient handling and to prevent deterioration

• Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer residents call lights.

• Report on all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible.

• Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manger.

• Answer phones as necessary

• Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator
