Maintenance Assistant Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required
- Troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Perform miscellaneous repairs, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on equipment ensuring satisfactory operations
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, various heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
- Follow established safety rules, policies, and procedures of the maintenance department
- Ability to work independently or part of a group
- Computer knowledge
- Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator
