Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with day-to-day maintenance operations, including basic repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain facility equipment and tools in good working order
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
- Support overall cleanliness and upkeep of the building and grounds
Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask
Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as required
