Now Hiring: Admissions Director
Responsibilities of Admissions Director:
Records Information concerning inquires, admissions and discharges and assists with daily census reports
Coordinates the inquiry process and facilitates the admission process including completing required paperwork
Appropriately notifies facility representatives of admission updates
Keep monthly record of census, matching up numbers with Business Office to ensure accuracy at the end of each month
Provide information on referral leads, admissions, and discharges on a weekly basis or as requested
Communicates effectively with the Social Security Department, Nursing and Business Office regarding bed availability
Evaluates referrals to determine admission candidacy, including visiting referrals at home or involved with community agency as appropriate
Maintain close contact with all referral sources.
Notify hospitals of bed availability on regular basis.
Qualifications Admissions Director:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
Admissions experience in LTC/SNF preferred.
Positive and energetic individual with creativity
Ability to work independently or part of a group.
Computer knowledge.
