Now Hiring: Guest Services Director- A resident-focused position that ensures the needs of residents are met or exceeded by performing a wide variety of customer-focused tasks that vary with facility needs.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Admissions, nursing staff, dietary, activities, and Social Services to assist in the transition of new residents and their families to the facility.
Chart Document any applicable required care and/or socialization, answer call lights and handle residents’ needs as appropriate within their scope of abilities.
Communicate appropriately with Nurses and Aides regarding resident’s needs (i.e. medication requests, toileting, dietary needs, and any other requests that require special licensing/certifications to perform).
Participate in resident individual and group activities.
Complete other duties as requested by the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing.
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently or part of a group.
Computer knowledge.
One year experience in a customer service position.
Experience in working with vulnerable adult population or equivalent.
Specialized training or experience in geriatric care or gerontology is desirable.
Must have High school Diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a background test.
