What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court Reporting Production Tech position at Compex Legal Services?
Looking for a fast-paced role where no two days are exactly the same? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Court Reporting Production Tech to join our team.
In this role, you’ll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes by preparing transcripts, supporting remote depositions, editing media files, and helping deliver high-quality work products to clients. If you enjoy staying organized, multitasking, and working with both technology and people, this could be a great fit for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing, copying, and delivering legal transcripts
- Editing and organizing audio/video files
- Assisting with remote video depositions and troubleshooting basic tech issues
- Scheduling and sending videoconference links
- Managing shipping, mailings, and documentation
- Updating reports and tracking daily work activity
- Supporting quality control and document organization
- Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who is organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and stay on top of deadlines
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
- Legal industry experience is a plus, but not required

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
