We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Adult Primary Care Provider to join our established primary care practice in the Bronx. We are open to Physicians (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioners (NP), and Physician Assistants (PA).
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, as we serve a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population.
The provider will deliver comprehensive primary care to adult patients, including preventive care and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to adult patients
- Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, and routine follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Manage conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and other common primary care conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, health screenings, and patient education
- Coordinate referrals and care with specialists when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted New York State license as an MD, DO, NP, or PA
- Fluent in English and Spanish – required
- Qualified to provide primary care services to adult patients
- DEA registration, if applicable
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Primary care or internal medicine experience preferred
- Commitment to providing compassionate and culturally responsive care
