Job description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. As a BCBA contractor or part-time/full-time , you will work in a hybrid position.
Candidates must have BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Licensure from the Virginia Board of Medicine (or be license eligible). Experience working with children
One to two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, energetic, well-organized individual with a demonstrated ability to work and communicate with a variety of people. Knowledge of Medicaid-waiver and licensing regulations in Virginia is a plus. BCBAs should be able to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
The BCBA is responsible for providing accurate behavioral assessments, development of individualized behavior programs, and implementation of programs to individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and/or mental illness diagnoses. Typical responsibilities include completing functional assessments, developing behavior support plans, training and participating in dynamic service teams. This position is flexible in scheduling and provides opportunities to work in a wide array of environments. Therefore, a professional attitude, approach to daily work and overall appearance are essential. This hybrid position requires in-person visits once a month.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- BCBA License
- Master's Degree in ABA or Related Field
- Bachelor's degree in a related human services field.
Must be a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia (or able to obtain licensure upon employment)
