Responsibilities: - Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients - Provide speech therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing difficulties - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Requirements: - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology - Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist - Experience in case management and patient care - Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy - Familiarity with acute care and ICU settings - Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech and swallowing - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
