What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant position at Compassion Health Care?
We are seeking a PMHNP or PA to work at our Community Health Center, providing safe, accurate, and clinically competent care to patients and families, recognizing patient needs. The candidate must possess a great work ethic, sound clinical judgment, be a team player, and demonstrate compassion for others as well as commitment, integrity, and excellence in their daily work. The ideal candidate must also commit to being the model of equitable treatment for all by eliminating bias contributing to healthcare disparities and embracing the transcultural diversity of our patients, employees, and community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completed Nurse Practitioner program or PA program
- Board Certified
- North Carolina license (active and unrestricted)
- Controlled Substance Registration without restrictions from the Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA certificate”)
- BLS

The selected candidate must meet CHC's employment eligibility requirements, including but not limited to, successfully completing pre-employment drug testing and criminal background screening.
