The Intern Experience with Compass of Hope
- Provide direct clinical services to clients under supervision
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions appropriate to training level
- Maintain professional boundaries and ethical decision-making at all times
- Receive ongoing clinical consultation and real-time support with on call supervisor coverage at all times of operation Partic
- Gain exposure to a variety of clinical presentations, treatment modalities, and documentation standards
- Interns are supported by a robust leadership and supervision structure, including: Clinical supervisors, site supervisor, clinical director, weekly team meeting and weekly supervision offerings in addition to weekly individual supervision
- Clear escalation pathways are in place to ensure intern support and client safety
- Emphasis on learning, growth, feedback, and skill development
- Opportunities for continuing education courses to learn specific treatment modalities and areas of interest
- Participate in community development activities and other tasks as assigned
