We are seeking licensed Dentists to join our team in providing high-quality dental exams to our National Guard Service Members. Dentists will conduct comprehensive dental exams. Exams will take place at armories or other designated military facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental exams for military personnel using digital x-rays and diagnostic tools.
- Accurately record dental findings using digital dental software.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to complete exams or treatments.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable dental and medical regulations.
- Provide professional, respectful, and quality care to all Service Members.
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure smooth event operations.
- Ability to travel by air or ground transportation to locations as scheduled for dental readiness events.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Active, unrestricted Dental License in the state of practice.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Current DEA registration (for those providing treatment).
- Proficiency with digital x-rays and dental charting software.
- Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile or non-traditional setting.
- Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including weekends when needed.
- Prior Military experience, preferred.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per day).
- Frequent bending, reaching, and manual dexterity required for assisting during procedures.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move dental equipment or supply boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination necessary for performing dental tasks safely and accurately.
