We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable PRN CAOHC Certified DOEHRS Specialist to travel with us to support the National Guard Hearing Conservation Programs across multiple sites. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable PRN CAOHC Certified DOEHRS Specialist to travel with us to support the National Guard Hearing Conservation Programs across multiple sites. This flexible, as-needed position involves traveling to National Guard units Nationwide to conduct hearing tests and ensure accurate data entry into the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System database.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audiometric testing in compliance with DoD and National Guard Bureau (NGB) guidelines
- Accurately input test data into DOEHRS-HC and ensure database integrity
- Set up, calibrate and maintain mobile audiometric equipment
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA and military-specific regulations
- Ability to travel by air or ground transportation to locations as scheduled for readiness events.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Hold a valid CAOHC Certification (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation)
- Be eligible (and cleared) for any required system access (CAC, DoD system credentials, etc.)
- Experience working with military or government agencies.
- Attention to detail and data management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including weekends when needed.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per day).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move dental equipment or supply boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination necessary for performing tasks safely and accurately.
