Position Overview:
The Escrow Processor provides centralized processing and administrative support to Escrow Officers and escrow teams to ensure accurate, timely movement of escrow files from opening through closing. The Escrow Processor plays a key role in maintaining file quality, supporting customer service needs, and ensuring compliance with company standards and escrow procedures in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide processing support to Escrow Officers and escrow teams for day-to-day file activities
- Handle pre-curative matters, including clearing routine title and closing issues prior to settlement
- Review title commitments, real estate contracts, and escrow files for completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate file tasks to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and timelines
- Review files for payoffs, assumptions, and lender requirements
- Submit commission requests and assist with transaction-related communications
- Support assessment updates and perform routine file-level research
- Upload, organize, and maintain documents and correspondence in ResWare
- Provide backup phone coverage and respond professionally to internal and external inquiries
- Communicate effectively with escrow teams, clients, and internal partners to obtain required information
- Maintain accurate, organized electronic files and ensure data integrity
- Ensure compliance with escrow trust accounting standards, company policies, and procedures
- Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of team members, leadership, customers, and external partners.
- Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience in escrow, title, real estate, or related administrative role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Windows-based applications
- Experience with escrow/title systems (e.g., ResWare) preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting escrow teams or processing real estate transactions
