What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN position at Company Keepers?
Our
agency home care RN ensures quality and safe delivery of nursing services to
Clients in a home setting. Our Registered Nurse(s) work to develop, implement
and evaluate the plan
of
care and make necessary revisions to address all problems in the plan of care.
They provide coordination of the plan of care, maintaining continuity of client
care with other health professionals while identifying interdisciplinary care
needs and making recommendations for additional home health care services.
Job Qualifications:
•
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a
four-year degree
•
Current nursing licensure by the State of Georgia
•
One year of skilled nursing experience preferred
•
Willingness to accept supervision and instruction as
needed
•
Pass a criminal history clearance prior to working
•
Comply with the random drug testing program as requested
•
Be committed to attendance as scheduled, and open to
consider fill-in
Job Skills:
•
Knowledge and competence in technique and practice of
the nursing profession
•
Ability to communicate effectively using written and
verbal media
•
Ability to adapt
and communicate with Clients/Families from a variety of cultural, economic, and
social backgrounds
Environmental and Working Conditions:
•
Be able to work in all types of weather and home environments
•
Must be a licensed driver in the state of Georgia. Must
have available a safe, well-maintained, properly-insured vehicle and be able to
drive under conditions that may not be ideal
•
Must accept that delivery of Client care in home settings could
expose the individual to communicable illnesses or disease
Physical and Mental Effort:
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds; hear and
distinguish heart, lung, and bowel sounds
- Ability to see colors; reach overhead to height
of 6 feet
- Ability to think clearly and logically, to
maintain calm and continue to function of effectively while developing
priorities, even in stressful situations
