What are the responsibilities and job description for the Companion For Gent/Foggy Ridge Rd./Rocky Mount/220-Monday-Friday 4pm-8pm position at Companion Home Care?
We need an addition to our team for an elderly gentleman with short-term memory loss who is now on dialysis. The companion will provide companionship, light dinner prep, medication reminders, and encouragement to take short walks on his beautiful property. We have a morning person who handles housekeeping and provides standby assistance with his shower. Evenings focus more on companionship, conversation, medications, a nutritious meal instead of the unhealthy fast food his kidneys can't tolerate, and making sure he gets to bed safely. We are looking for a mature caregiver who is local to that area, reliable, dependable, and empathetic toward the health issues associated with aging. A really great companion job with a very nice person in a beautiful home.
Monday-Friday 4 pm-8 pm
Background check and drug test will be performed pre-employment
Pay: $15.00 per hour
