Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter with a foundation in technology and/or manufacturing recruiting to join our Human Resources team in Taylor, TX. In this role, you will support full-cycle recruiting efforts across engineering, operations, supply chain, and corporate functions — helping Compal attract top talent in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and manufacturing roles including professional, engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, and operations
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop compelling job descriptions, and establish candidate profiles
  • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, university partnerships, referrals, and other sourcing channels
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone/video interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Support career fairs and campus recruiting events
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company hiring policies
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners on workforce planning and headcount priorities

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1–4 years of recruiting experience, ideally in technology, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting processes: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management
  • Hands-on experience with an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency with online sourcing platforms and job boards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred:

  • Experience recruiting for professional and/or technical roles
  • Exposure to high-volume recruiting environments is ideal
  • Knowledge of OFCCP compliance and affirmative action requirements
  • Prior experience supporting campus recruiting or university relations programs
