What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tow Motor Operator position at Compak?
Monday Through Friday hours will be 10:30am to 7:00pm.
- One weekend a month will be required 7a to 7p both Saturday & Sunday
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Run a powered industrial vehicle (tow motor, pick truck, etc).
- Pick pack orders, product sample kitting, and various other projects as instructed.
- Receiving of materials for fulfillment.
- Loading and unloading of trucks, vans and box trucks.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with Fulfillment Warehouse Lead and other departments on a daily basis.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Use a scanner for inventory and locating
- Data entry
- Be able to correspond via email
Skills required:
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and be comfortable working independently to achieve production expectations.
- Get along with others
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Tow motor certification not required; training will be offered.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Data entry experience or willing to learn
