COMPA Industries is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a major ERP modernization initiative at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This enterprise-wide transformation effort will modernize core business systems across Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Supply Chain, Data Platforms, Integrations, and Enterprise IT Services.

This position is ideal for a senior-level IT Project Manager with strong technical expertise supporting ERP implementations, enterprise data integrations, SAP modernization efforts, and large-scale cross-functional IT programs in highly complex environments.

The selected candidate will work closely with senior leadership, PMO teams, vendors, system integrators, and enterprise IT organizations to help drive successful execution of this multi-year modernization effort.

• Schedule: 9/80 or 5/8 schedule flexibility
• Duration: Long-term assignment through 06/14/2027 with strong extension potential
• Travel: Occasional travel for leadership meetings
• Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance
• Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Key Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of ERP modernization IT workstreams

Manage project activities related to:

• SAP S/4HANA
• Databricks
• SAP Business Data Cloud
• Enterprise data integrations
• Infrastructure dependencies
• Technical readiness activities
• Develop and maintain:
• Project schedules
• Milestones
• Risk registers
• Issue logs
• Resource plans
• Executive status reports

Coordinate activities across IT teams, PMO leadership, cybersecurity, finance, procurement, HR, vendors, and system integrators

Track technical deliverables and project dependencies

Drive accountability and resolution of project risks and issues

Translate complex technical information into actionable updates for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ensure projects remain aligned to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and compliance requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 12 years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience managing large-scale ERP modernization or SAP implementation projects
• Strong technical understanding of; ERP systems, Enterprise integrations, Cloud/data platforms, IT infrastructure dependencies, Application interfaces, Data migration and modernization efforts.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional enterprise initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification
• Scrum Master or SAFe Certification
• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
• Experience with:
• Databricks
• SAP Business Data Cloud
• ERP data conversion
• Technical architecture workstreams
• Experience working in highly regulated environments
• DOE/NNSA or Federal project experience
• Active DOE Q Clearance or ability to obtain one
