Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated (Healthcare) Business Development Coordinator to drive Community Minds' growth and expand our reach within the healthcare industry. This role will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening referral networks. By fostering strong collaborations, the Business Development Coordinator will help advance our mission of delivering exceptional mental health care, with a continued focus on serving veterans, service members, first responders, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Identify, initiate, and maintain relationships with healthcare networks, insurers, government agencies, and other potential partners to expand PsychiaTreat's reach and patient base. Actively seek out contract opportunities to establish long-term collaborations.
- Contract Development: Research, draft, and negotiate contracts for mental health services, provider agreements, and partnership initiatives. This includes identifying and pursuing government contracts, grant opportunities, and private sector agreements to support PsychiaTreat's mission and growth.
- Market Research and Lead Generation: Conduct in-depth market research and networking to pinpoint potential business opportunities within the healthcare sector, with a focus on mental health services.
- Event Creation and Hosting: Develop, organize, and host relevant events and activities, including community events, workshops, and informational sessions, aimed at increasing awareness of mental health resources and strengthening connections with local organizations, veterans, and first responders.
- Community Coalition Leadership: Establish and lead a community coalition focused on identifying key areas of need within the community. Coordinate efforts and brainstorm impactful ways for PsychiaTreat to give back, ensuring that initiatives align with the needs of veterans, first responders, other at-risk populations, and their families.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, clinical, and operational teams to align business strategies, outreach, and service offerings with company goals. Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance and successful execution of agreements.
- Database and CRM Management: Utilize CRM software to manage a comprehensive, organized database of leads, contacts, contracts, and opportunities, ensuring efficient tracking, reporting, and follow-ups.
- Sales and Outreach Presentations: Develop and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to prospective patients, partners, and government agencies. Ensure all materials clearly articulate the value of PsychiaTreat’s services and partnership opportunities.
- Market Analysis and Strategy Refinement: Monitor trends, competitor activities, and emerging contract opportunities within the healthcare industry. Leverage insights to refine business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and position PsychiaTreat as a preferred provider for mental health services.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in healthcare business development, sales, or a similar role within the mental health or healthcare sectors.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong self-motivation and results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and lead generation tools.
- Deep understanding of and commitment to mental health services for veterans, first responders, and their families is a plus.
