What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Choices Facilitator (part-time) position at Community Violence Intervention Center?
NEW CHOICES FACILITATOR (PART-TIME)
The New Choices program is a deliberate and purposeful intervention that challenges the beliefs behind the use of violence and abuse within relationships. We are looking for a motivated and team-oriented to co-facilitate in-person groups. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is comfortable with conflict resolution, and is detail oriented. Due to program needs and our curriculum model we are looking for a female to support this role.
Other commitments include monthly team meetings and opportunities to provide back-up coverage as needed for other groups. This position works approximately 5 to 10 hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in a related field (i.e. criminal justice, psychology) with relevant experience is required.
COMPENSATION:
Hourly rate is $18.81-$30.10 per hour based on education and experience.

Director of Domestic Violence Intervention

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position works with the full-time staff and other group facilitators to deliver intervention groups to enhance victim safety and promote accountability.
Group
• Assist in tracking individuals ordered to group through the court system.
• Facilitate weekly male domestic violence intervention group sessions.
• Conduct intakes, halfway interviews and exit interviews for group participants.
• Collect payments and updated information from group participants.
Record Keeping
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely record of all contacts, according to established procedures.
· Maintain files for group participants, including weekly notes, call logs, and other relevant correspondence.
Meetings and Trainings
• Attend and participate in monthly team meetings.
• Participate in trainings to enhance facilitation skills.
