What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wealth Advisor I position at COMMUNITY TRUST AND INVESTMENT COMPANY?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide quality service to each account assigned through a thorough knowledge of the unique character of each account and by maintaining ongoing relationships with clients, beneficiaries, and related professionals connected with those accounts
- Act as a key consultant to clients, developing and implementing solutions
- Demonstrate sound complex decision-making skills, including balancing business risk to Community Trust and Investment Company with client interests
- Supervise assigned Client Service Administrator's daily tasks with appropriate follow up; train as needed; provide timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback
- Support Business Development Officers in the solicitation of new accounts
- Interact with other support areas in order to develop and implement account objectives and investment strategies
- Participate actively in community affairs and professional associations
- Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
- Four year college degree (BA, BS, BBA) or equivalent, plus 2- 4 years of industry experience
- Technically proficient in fiduciary law, tax, investments, and administration
- Working knowledge of investment management and the ability to communicate investment and economic concepts, approaches, and performance to clients
- Confident serving in an advisory capacity to clients and families
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal office conditions
- Travel required
